Inside the world of Blue Ren

Moody, authentic, and emotionally charged, Blue Ren invites listeners into her world. With raw vulnerability and unflinching honesty, her storytelling cuts deep — offering a soundtrack to her unique life experience including the messy parts.

Based in Ballarat, the singer-songwriter uses music as a mirror to explore both her inner landscape and the world around her. Her songs are deeply personal and written as a way to process her emotions.

Blue Ren’s sound is shaped by the emotive storytelling of iconic folk and alt-country artists like Jewel and Counting Crows, while her contemporary influences — including The Lumineers and dark folk sensation Paris Paloma — bring a modern edge.

Blue Ren’s recent singles “Running From Myself” and “Ghost” were featured on ABC Country Radio and is set to release her debut Album in October 2026.

Blue Ren was part of Ballarat City Council’s Be Hear Now program in 2025 and was mentored by Aria Award winning artist Lior. She has recently performed at Ballarat’s Summer Sundays and Begonia Festival .

Blue Ren has supported artists including Lior, Liz Stringer, Adam Newling, Tom Harrington and Rod Coote, marking her presence as a rising voice in Australia’s indie-folk scene.
